Growth Associated Protein 43 also known as GAP43 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ''GAP43'' gene. GAP43 has been termed a 'growth' or 'plasticity' protein because it is expressed at high levels in neuronal growth cones during development, during axonal regeneration and is phosphorylated after long-term potentiation (LTP) and after learning (reference needed). This protein is considered a crucial component of the axon and presynaptic terminal, its null mutation leading to death within days after birth due to axon pathfinding defects.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 url = http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=2596 )〕 == Synonyms == GAP43 is also referred to as: * protein F1 * neuromodulin * neural phosphoprotein B-50 * axonal membrane protein GAP-43 * calmodulin-binding protein P-57 * nerve growth-related peptide GAP43 * neuron growth-associated protein 43 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Gap-43 protein」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
