Gharchistan
Gharchistan, also known as Gharjistan was a medieval region on the north bank of the Murghab River, lying to the east of Herat and north of Hari River. It corresponds roughly to the modern Badghis Province of Afghanistan. today the eastrun of ghargistan called Hazarajat.

in Pashto Language ghar means Mountain and stan is a Sanskrit word meaning place or home. called those people living inside of mountains. gharjistan was a good land for agricultural. It had 2 big city like shormin and bashin. bashin agricultural production was rice and maiz was from the shormin.
