Giv'ati :''This article is about the moshav. For the IDF brigade, see Giv'ati Brigade.'' Giv'ati () is a moshav in southern Israel. Located near Ashdod, it falls under the jurisdiction of Be'er Tuvia Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 781. The moshav was founded by IDF veterans and Olim from Egypt on the ruins of Beit Daras. It is named after the Giv'ati Brigade of the IDF, which stopped the Egyptian Army from entering Israel from the south in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Giv'ati is located on land belonging to the depopulated Palestinian village of Bayt Daras. ==References==
