GoOpti
GoOpti is a privately held Slovenian transportation network company. It is known for its low-cost shuttle service to nearby airports and cities in Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Croatia and Germany.〔M.G (July 2014). (M.G (July 2014). Since July 2011 (when GoOpti transfers were introduced to the market), GoOpti has transported over 400,000 passengers with 40 GoOpti vans that have travelled more than 16 million kilometres.

GoOpti was experimentally launched in the summer of 2011 by three entrepreneurs, Marko Guček, Sašo Sušnik and Tomaž Lorenzetti. The main idea was to offer a low-cost shuttle service taking passengers to and from nearby airports. This idea came from the market demand, as they noticed that the development of many low-cost airlines made air transport cheaper than ground transport for many travellers.〔Wauters, Robin (February 2015). Consequently, they were forced to buy their own vehicles. Just three months after the introduction of GoOpti transfers to the market, their service became profitable and the investments were recovered in less than a year.〔Jerič, Anja (December 2013). GoOpti is not just a shuttle transfer company: it is a transportation network service serving both sides: the suppliers (drivers, offering transfer) and the buyers (customers, in need of a transfer). Their online booking system recognizes demand and optimizes the occupancy of vehicles in order to achieve the lowest possible price for the passengers and the highest yield for the carrier.〔
