Grovii The Grovii were an ancient tribe in Coastal Northern Portugal, in the province of Minho, around the Minho river and north of Cape Santo André, and spreading into modern day Galicia (Spain). Its main god was Turiacus, unlike the nearby Castro culture tribes, whose main deity was Cosus. Pomponius Mela stated that all the populi were Celtic, excepting for the Grovii. Pliny also rejected that the Grovii were Celtic, he considered them to have a Greek origin. ==See also==
