Hamminkeln is a town in the district of Wesel, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated on the river Issel, approximately 10 kilometers north of Wesel. It is twinned with Sedgefield, United Kingdom The town is separated into a couple of smaller villages like Brünen, Mariental, Dingden and others and has no larger downtown area.
