Hate Man
Hate Man (born Mark Hawthorne) is an American philosopher. His beliefs center on people being honest about their negative feelings.
He is locally famous in Berkeley, California, where he has lived since 1973.
==Career==
Mark was from Stamford, CT and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1958 with a BA in English. While at UCONN he was Managing Editor of the Daily Campus, the University newspaper. He was also a member of AROTC and received his commission upon graduation. Hawthorne was an officer in the US Air Force and served at a SAC base in Morocco.Also a Peace Corps volunteer. He started at ''The New York Times'' as a copy boy and worked as a reporter in the Metro section from 1961 to 1970 before he left, divorced his wife, and "started being downward mobile."〔
