Hemelveerdegem is a small village and borough which makes up part of the municipality of Lierde in the Denderstreek in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The village and estate were ruled from the 17th century until at least the late 18th century by the armigerous Boelare family. The village's coat of arms shows a beehive with a lion behind it. The arms were granted on August 4, 1818 and were confirmed on September 7, 1928. == External links ==
