Hengstdijk is a village in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Hulst, and lies about 26 km southwest of Bergen op Zoom. Hengstdijk was a separate municipality until 1936.〔Ad van der Meer and Onno Boonstra, "Repertorium van Nederlandse gemeenten", KNAW, 2006. ()〕 In 2001, the village of Hengstdijk had 193 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.059 km², and contained 94 residences.〔Statistics Netherlands (CBS), (''Bevolkingskernen in Nederland 2001'' ).
