Hindpool is an area and electoral ward of Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England. It is bordered by Barrow Island, Central Barrow, Ormsgill, Parkside and the Walney Channel,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Maps and details of Barrow's Electoral Boundaries )〕 the local population stood at 5,515 in 2001,〔 increasing to 5,851 at the 2011 Census.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Ward population 2011 )〕 The ward covers the entire western half of the town centre and includes Barrow's main shopping district. Other sites of interest include the Furness College campus, the Dock Museum and the Main Public Library. The Town Hall and other such government buildings are located in the neighbouring central ward.
