Honeygar Honeygar, also Honegar is a mix of honey and apple cider vinegar. Originally used for its health benefits since ancient times. The name Honeygar was coined by Dr D. C. Jarvis in the 1950s in his book ''Folk Medicine: A Vermont Doctor's Guide to Good Health''. Many in natural health circles have claimed that the Apple Cider Vinegar in Honeygar has wide ranging benefits on health. One particularity repeated claim is its benefits for the symptoms of Arthritis. Recently Modern science has begun to revisit claims about cider vinegar, particularly with respect to diabetes, weight loss and insulin resistance.〔CS Johnston, CA Gaas. Vinegar: Medicinal Uses and Antiglycemic Effect, MedGenMed, 8(2): 61. May 30, 2006.〕 More recently Honeygar has been used in cooking as a versatile and long lasting ingredient. When made with cider vinegar made from real cider apples, Honeygar has a pleasant taste which lends itself well to many recipes — from traditional salad dressings and vinaigrettes to balsamic alternatives or even as part of a mulled drink. ==External links==
