Hookworms are a five-piece psychedelic/noise rock band from Leeds/Halifax, England. == Biography == Hookworms released their first tape cassette EP on Sun Araw's Sun Ark/Magic Lantern label in August 2011, and known in underground alternative music for their live shows the band released live tapes (including a CD release of their WFMU live session) and several releases through Gringo Records. In 2013 Hookworms signed to Domino imprint Weird World; they also joined the Too Pure roster with their single Radio Tokyo. The band are composed of JN, JW, MB, MJ and SS.
