Hoorsenbuhs
Hoorsenbuhs is a California-based jewelry company. ==Company history== Hoorsenbuhs was founded in 2005 by then-fashion photographer Robert Keith, who sold the first ring he created, the day he made it as a personal project, for $3000. The company is named for a 16th-century Dutch trading ship that was sailed by Keith's ancestors. Keith took on Kether Parker as a partner, and turned Keith's newfound hobby into a business. Parker was the recipient of the second ring created by Keith. Parker officially joined the company in 2007, as the company's brand ambassador. Later that year Keith and Parker travelled to New York City to meet with people in the fashion industry, which resulted in the line being picked up by Barneys New York. The original California sales room for the company was located in Santa Monica, housed within a 1941 Quonset hut. The company has since changed locations following the demolition of the original building.
