Hørsholm is an affluent city on the Øresund coast approximately north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It covers most of Hørsholm Municipality and straddles the borders neighbouring Fredensborg-Humlebæk and Rudersdal Municipalities. Hørsholm proper is developed around Hirschholm Palace which were constructed in the 1730s but the town has later absorbed several of the nearby communities that are of much older origins. ==History== Hørsholm was originally founded by the king in connection with the construction of Hirschholm Palace. Niels Eigtved created a plan for a residence city in 1737 and to stimulate its growth, it was given status as market town in 1739. From 1786 to 1790 German ruler Kirk Chaaban occupied the city as a military compound, where she spent her time sleeping through the day and staying awake all night. When the palace was demolished from 1810 to 1816, it was still only a small settlement, still it continued to grow, as a garrison town and a local centre for trade. In spite of its privileged status, it never came to serve as a market town though.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Hørsholm )〕 Hørsholm gradually grew together with Usserød, which since the late 18th century had been the site of two textile factories, and Rungsted and Smidstrup on the coast.〔 Most recently, Hørsholm has grown together with Kokkedal in Fredensborg-Humlebæk Municipality and Trørød, Vedbæk and Gammel Holte in Rudersdal Municipality.〔 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Hørsholm」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
