Hungerfield
The Hamlet of Hungerfield in the Parish of Easenhall Easenhall in the Borough of Rugby Rugby, Warwickshire in the County of Warwickshire in England.
Hungerfield is a small collection of four houses roughly located around bridge 35 of the North Oxford Canal Oxford Canal in the Parish of Easenhall. It is believed that the place gets its name from the clay soil it inhabits. Hungerfield consists of Boat Inn Cottage (formally The Boat Inn), Boat Cottage (formally the New Inn), Town Thorns Farm (formally Hungerfield Farm) and The Bungalow (built in the 60's). == Hungerfield Lands as Part of the Newbold Revel Estate ==
Feniniwebold () is mentioned in the Doomsday book, it was changed to Newbold Revell by Sir Hugh Revell in 1235 () The next notable inhabitant of Newbold Revel is said to be Sir Thomas Mallory Thomas Malory Author of Morte de Arthur. The estate then passes through a few hands and around 1600 comes to the Skipwith Family who hold it until 1852 when Sir Grey Skipwith Sir George Brydges Skipwith, 3rd Baronet dies and the estate was broken up and sold off.
