Hysitron is a nanomechanical test instrument manufacturing and testing company. Hysitron has been designing, testing and building instruments for the scientific community since 1992. Hysitron is most noted for being the pioneers of in-situ imaging with nanoindentation and nanomechanical property measurement capabilities. Hysitron has instruments located in university, corporate and government laboratories across the United States and throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The standard Hysitron instrument offers normal forces up to approximately 10 mN and is capable of lateral force testing.
