International Conference on Computer Vision
ICCV, the International Conference on Computer Vision, is a research conference sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) held every other year. It is considered, together with CVPR, the top level conference in computer vision,〔(SoC Conference Ranking )〕 with a 'A
*' rating from the Australian Ranking of ICT Conferences obtained in 2008.〔(Australian Ranking of ICT Conferences )〕 The acceptance rate for ICCV has been around 25%-30%, with about 4% being accepted for oral presentations.〔(Conference Acceptance Ratio Statistics )〕
Like many IEEE conferences, ICCV has tutorial talks, technical sessions, and poster sessions. The conference is usually spread over four to five days. Leading experts in the focus areas would give tutorial talks on the first day. Then the technical sessions (and poster sessions in parallel) would follow.
