INKAS
INKAS Group of Companies is a privately held, Canadian company specializing in security and protection services headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Founded in 1993,〔 INKAS acted initially as an armed messenger service. Later they grew to a conglomerate offering a wide variety of security services that include: armored vehicle manufacturing; safe manufacturing; merchant services (e.g., point-of-sale and electronic transaction processing); and the company's traditional armored courier and armed guard services. INKAS's first business unit was INKAS Security Services. With head offices in Toronto, Ontario, INKAS Security Services was created in 1995 for the provisioning of armed messenger services. Personnel are armed with weapons and armed vehicles which vary between Dodge Sprinters, Ford Econoline 350s, Freightliners, Ford F-150’s and armored Jeep Cherokees.
The Company currently provides security guard services across the Province including Ottawa, The Greater Toronto Area, Central Ontario, Barrie, Newmarket, Peterborough, Kingston, Hamilton and Thunder Bay. Sites include: government properties and offices, educational institutions, research centers, industrial complexes, medical labs, courts, courthouses, power stations, land registry offices, sub stations, multi-ministry offices, merchant businesses, garages and recreation complexes, jewelry stores and auction houses.Depending on the tactical deployment required, guard services can consist of security personnel that are fully uniformed, vested, plain clothes, personal protection and escort or special assignment. Security guards are trained through INKAS® Training Academy and equipped and managed by the Security Manager.
