Jaboka

Jaboka (), is a town and union council of Okara District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.〔(Tehsils & Unions in the District of Okara - Government of Pakistan )〕
It is located at 30°57'38N 73°27'10E with an altitude of 161 metres (531 feet) 〔(Location of Jaboka - Falling Rain Genomics )〕
Jaboka is one of the big towns of District Okara. It is historical city. The people were living here before 70 to 80 years were called Jaboka therefore it is named Jaboka. It has two ancient buildings also which were constructed about 100 years ago. It has population of about 50,000. Jaboka is commercial and educational center for about more than 20 villages around it. Commercially Jaboka is very good it has markets of garments and cloth. It is one of the old towns of Pakistan. It has developed quite well, compared to the other villages. From Okara City there is a road to Okara which is also bus route for that area. A government hospital is also available. It has bus stand and MCB bank also there.
