Jamhor is a small town and a notified area in Aurangabad district in the Indian state of Bihar. ==Demographics== India census, Jamhor had a population of 8575. In this village a family of Yadubansh Singh of Sikarwar Rajput (Now known as Sakarwar Rajput) of Goverdhanpur of Rohtash District settled & owned sizable land in Matihani and Dhanibar in the same Aurangabad District.In this family Yugal Kishor Singh,Shyam Narayan Singh and Er.Bindeshwari Singh earned a good name in the period of 1960-1990.In modern times Dr. Rajan Kumar, Suman Kumar, Neeraj Singh, Prabhakar Kumar, Mritunjay Kumar Singh, Jitendra Singh have maintained the status of the Sikarwar family.IPS Vineet Vinayak , Col. P B Singh and Vivek kumar Singh is also a prominent figure of this village. And this place needs development in all avenues..
