Jaroudiah
Jaroudiah(Persian:جارودیه) is among the first branches of Zaidiyyah and attributed to Abu Jaroud Zyiad Ibn Monzar. This sect also nominated as Sorhoubiyah because Sorhoub was the title of Abu Jaroud. Among their theorists of the Jaroudiah can be refer to some ones like Fazl bn Zubayr Rasan, Mansour Ibn Abi Al Asvad and Haroun Ibn Saad Ajli. Also Abu Khalid Vaseti is a prominent figure in this school school. Some beliefs of Jaroudiah are such as:believed inZayd Ibn Ali ibn Hussein(a.s) as successor, Ali's preference on other Sahabah and necessity of arising before Cruels.〔Islamic Great encyclopedia,vol.17.p.263,1368, Masouud Tareh〕 ==History== Jaroudiah counted as the first branch of Zaidiyyah. Jozef Van Ess called this sect Sorhoubiyyah. Two people had important roles in theoretical basics of this sect. One of them is Abu Al Jaroud as the one who established this school and the other one is Abu Khalid, the one who was heir of Jaroudiyyah's teaching.
