Jhinjhar
Jhinjhar is a village in the Bhiwani district of the Indian state of Haryana. ==History== The village was established by a Rajput family of the Parmar dynasty after Thakur Harisingh Parmar arrived from the village of Bond Kalan. Parmar's descendants (''vansaj'') are still present in the village and are known as Parmar Rajputs (or Pawar Rajputs). Under the name Thakur Hari Singh Parmar there are still a series of fields (khets) between charkhi dadri tempo stand (adda) and bhiwani bus stand (adda) along both sides of a road which connects Jhinjhar via village Achina Taal. These fields are known as Haryasar Khets. Later he donated much of his land to the brahmin families and other castes. Hari Singh Parmar's 23rd successors are currently present in Jhinjhar. A Sati Chatri (monument to the memory of a dead person usually on the place of their cremation) of his wife and mother are in the village and known as the ''Thakuro Ki Sati''.
