Jolanta (or Jolantha) is a Czech, Polish and Slovak form of the Greek name Iolanthe. It is derived from Greek words ιολη (iole) "violet" and ανθος (anthos) "flower". Similar names also derived from Iolanthe are Yolande, Jolanda and Yolanda.
