Jōkyū

, also called Shōkyū, was a Japanese era name (年号, ''nengō'', lit. year name) after ''Kempō'' and before ''Jōō.'' This period spanned the years from April 1219 through April 1222.〔Nussbaum, Louis-Frédéric. (2005). "''Jōkyū''" in ( ''Japan encyclopedia'', p. 431; ) n.b., Louis-Frédéric is pseudonym of Louis-Frédéric Nussbaum, ''see'' (Deutsche Nationalbibliothek Authority File ).〕 The reigning emperor was Juntoku''-tennō'' (順徳天皇).〔Titsingh, Isaac.
