KDXE (1380 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a urban adult contemporary format. Licensed to North Little Rock, Arkansas, US, it serves the Little Rock area. The station is currently owned by NC Communications, llc. On December 18, 2008, radio industry website 100000watts.com reported that KDXE had gone silent, but no explanation was given for this. On November 3, 2009, the radio station once again returned to the air, this time as a talk radio station, and features the following lineup: America’s Morning News, Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham, Dr. Laura, Jerry Doyle, Rusty Humphries and Phil Hendrie. Mark Nolte served as general manager and co-broker with Patrick Communications to complete the sale to NC Communications. A Lease Management Agreement to program the station began on or about January 1, 2010, Station sold to NC Communications December 31, 2010, Duane Nickols, general manager. Duane Nickols, a longtime veteran broadcaster, continues to consult, guide and direct marketing and programming for the Group part-time from his home.
