KFXD

KFXD (630 AM, "630 The Fan") is an American radio station licensed to serve Boise, Idaho. The station is owned by Townsquare Media. It airs a sports format.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.arbitron.com/ )
The station was assigned the KFXD call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on August 14, 2002.〔(【引用サイトリンク】work=FCC Media Bureau CDBS Public Access Database )
On October 15, 2008, KFXD's lineup was absorbed by sister station KIDO
KIDO and Peak Broadcasting lost their rights to broadcast Boise State Broncos athletics, to Citadel Broadcasting-owned KBOI (670 AM).
In October 2011 KFXD changed their format to sports, branded as "630 The Fan".
On August 30, 2013, a deal was announced in which Townsquare Media would purchase Peak Broadcasting's stations, including KFXD. The deal is part of Cumulus Media's acquisition of Dial Global; Townsquare will swap Peak's Fresno, California stations to Cumulus for its stations in Dubuque, Iowa and Poughkeepsie, New York, and Peak, Townsquare, and Dial Global are all controlled by Oaktree Capital Management. The sale to Townsquare was completed on November 14, 2013.
