Phoenix-based personalities heard on KFYI include Mike Broomhead (mornings), Chris Merrill (afternoons) and Rob Hunter (early morning news). Former Congressman J. D. Hayworth had hosted a show on KFYI. He resigned from the station in 2010 in an unsuccessful run for the U.S. Senate against Senator John McCain. Syndicated programming is similar to the standard iHeartMedia news talk lineup and includes Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. The Glenn Beck Radio Program airs in the evening. Because of Arizona's time zone idiosyncrasies (the state does not participate in Daylight saving time), Limbaugh and Hannity air on a tape delay during the spring and summer months, when the rest of the nation is observing Daylight Saving Time. Weekends include programs on money, health, "Handel on The Law" with Bill Handel and "The Kim Komando Show" featuring computer expert Kim Komando who makes her home in Phoenix. Some weekend shows are brokered to hosts who pay KFYI for the time.
