KKOG-TV
KKOG-TV, channel 16, was the first full power broadcast station in Ventura County, California. The station, located in Ventura, had a brief history, lasting only nine months. Starting up on December 14, 1968, KKOG, an independent station, offered live, local programming instead of the normal syndicated programming most independents offered. KKOG's primary owner was Julian F. Myers, a noted Hollywood talent agent and publicist. Mr. Myers hosted several of the station's TV programs. ==Newscast titles==
