KKVM (104.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an album adult alternative format. Licensed to Vail, Colorado, USA, the station is currently owned by Vail Radio Partners, LLC.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=KKVM Facility Record )〕 ==History== The station was assigned the call letters KSKE on 1989-12-21. On 1990-01-29, the station changed its call sign to KSKE-FM. On 2009-09-08, the station changed its callsign to KBTB, and on 2011-04-26 to the current KKVM.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=KKVM Call Sign History )〕 In 2011, the station call letters where changed to KKVM to reflect the new format designed and launched by Chuck Lontine of Marconi Media Ventures. Mr. Lontine also created the format, logo and design of the stations overall sound and audio imaging with the help of music programmer Jayme A. Bregman. That new sound, "The Mile" is a popular mix of soft alternative rock music. The Mile was named after the popular background ski trail "the Mile" between Vail Mountain and Minturn, Colorado by Mr. Lontine. Mr. Lontine's firm Marconi also owns a percentage of the radio station. The station is located on Main Street in Minturn, Colorado to reflect its local roots in the Eagle County community.
