KTRH
KTRH 740 AM is a news-talk radio station in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. It is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc.; like other stations owned by iHeartMedia, it uses the iHeartRadio platform to stream its webcast. KTRH primarily focuses on news during the morning and syndicated talk shows during the rest of the day. Until the 2013 season, it was the flagship station for the Houston Astros (whose broadcasts have moved to sister station KBME Sportstalk 790). 740 AM is a North American clear-channel frequency; CFZM in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is the dominant station on 740 AM. The station's studios are located along the West Loop Freeway in the city's Uptown district, and the transmitter site is in unincorporated Liberty County southwest of Dayton, Texas. ==Programming== The station airs local and syndicated talk shows such as ''The Michael Berry Program'', ''The Sean Hannity Show'', ''The Rush Limbaugh Show'', ''Mark Levin Show'' and ''Coast to Coast AM''. Weekend programming also includes some self-help shows on the topics of health, homes, pets, and gardening.
