KZKC-LP
KZKC-LP channel 42 is a low powered affiliate of Azteca America in Bakersfield, California. It is owned by The E.W. Scripps Company, in conjunction with its local sister station, KERO-TV. It is simulcast in digital on a subchannel of KERO-TV RF channel 10 virtual mapped channel 23-2. The station was originally owned by Cocola Broadcasting, where it served as a repeater for Fresno's KMSG-LP; McGraw-Hill bought it in 2006. McGraw-Hill announced on October 3, 2011 that it would sell KZKC, along with its other television stations, to The E.W. Scripps Company as part of its exit from broadcasting.
