Kadakkarappally is a village in Alappuzha district in the Indian state of Kerala.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Census of India:Villages with population 5000 & above ) 〕 This is a panchayat which comes under the Cherthala Assembly constituency. The village became famous due to the Thankey church. Thankey is a great pilgrim center comes under this village. millions are coming here to get the blessing of the Jesus and the miraculous statue. The village's name is known for being the site of a shipwreck called The Kadakkarapally Boat.
