Kamaiole is a chief mentioned in Hawaiian chants and legends. He was ''Aliʻi Aimoku'' (king) by usurpation and it is likely that he is just a mythical figure.〔Abraham Fornander, ''An Account of the Polynesian Race: Its Origin and Migrations'', Rutland, VT: Charles E. Tuttle Company, 1969〕 == Myth of Kamaiʻole == David Malo mentions that Kamaiole seized the kingdom of Kanipahu of Hawaii, who fled to Molokai island. Kamaiole took many wives and many of his subjects were very angry at him.〔''Alaka‘i: Traditional Leadership'' by Malcolm Nāea Chun〕 They asked priest Paʻao how to kill the chief. He was later killed by Kalapana of Hawaiʻi.〔Memoirs of the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum of Polynesian Ethnology and Natural History, Volume 6〕 == Notes == 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Kamaiole」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
