Kasor is a village located at coordinates: Lat: 22° 33' 3.62"N| 72° 46'22"E in Sojitra Taluka and Anand District in the Gujarat State of India. Kasor is a biggest village in Sojitra “Taluka”. The village has an entrance from the State Highway 83 (Anand – Sojitra) in Gujarat. Entrance Gate of Kasor came off the highway just after 2.5 km drive. The place (400 K.V.SS Power Station ) considered in this village. The Village population is around 17000, some people are living in suburb area, locally known as “Para”. There are total 8 “Para” are outside of Kasor, all residents count in village population. There is one Lake in every entrance of village whether people came from South (Piplav 3 km), North (Changa 5 km), East (Sunav 3 km) or West (Malataj 2.5 km). Due to huge interest in politics some big politician like Bharatsinh Solanki, Shankersinh Vaghela, Keshubhai Patel had visited the village in their tenure. The village is facilitate with primary needs such as health clinics, free education (Primary and Secondary), free water supply, and good public as well as private transportation. The Village also holds two Common Hall called “Kasiba Vadi”& "patidar vadi" is for nominal rent for those who wants to celebrate their private functions at their door steps.
