Kassopaia (Greek: Κασσωπαία) is a village and a former municipality on the island of Corfu, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Corfu, of which it is a municipal unit.〔(Kallikratis law ) Greece Ministry of Interior 〕 It is located in the northeasternmost tip of the island of Corfu. It has a land area of 33.749 km² and a population of 2,787 (2001 census). The seat of the municipality was the town of Gimari (pop. 46).
