Katcheri
A katcheri or ((シンド語:kutcheri ڪچهري )) is a gathering. In the context of Carnatic Music it is a place where people gather to listen to classical music concerts of vidwans. It is commonly used to refer to carnatic music concerts. Vocalist Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar (1890–1967) established the modern ''kactheri'' (concert) traditions in Carnatic music. Katchehri is cultural heritage of Sindh, every evening Village people after day long hardship gathers at Baithak /Otak sit in a circle and tell fortales, stories, sings music and much more they share in the gathering (Kathehri). In British India the word was used for Zamindar's Office like modern District Collectorates. == References ==
