The brand forms part of the professional products division of the multi-national Paris-based parent company L'Oréal Group. ==Company History == Established in 1964 in France, by François Dalle (parent company CEO), the brand first expanded through Europe, followed by Japan in 1990 and in North America in 1999. Kérastase is exclusively distributed through high-end hair salons.
