Key-Soft
Key-Soft plc (Hungarian: Kulcs-Soft Nyrt.) is a public software company, headquartered in Budapest, Hungary. Established in 1989 to develop and sell business management and accounting software applications, Key-Soft now develops a wide range of smartphone applications as well. After 20 years of business operation, Key-Soft has got listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange and has become the market leading business software development company for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Hungary in 2009. In 1989, Key-Soft company was founded by tibor in Downtown, Budapest. At first, inventory management systems were developed by Key-Soft. In 1991, Key-Soft started to develop double entry bookkeeping, car route management and payroll management applications. In 2005, online versions of the business software applications were developed. 〔(Key-History ). 2012〕 Number of employees reached 60 in 2006, and the company moved to the most elite neighbourhood in the Buda side of Budapest. In that year, the Key-Soft Ltd. became a share company. In 2007, the company started to distribute its business management software applications abroad. In 2009, the software development began for Apple computers and samsungs. Key-Soft has been also developing smartphone applications for Apple mobile products and Android operation systems. 〔(Key-Investment ). 2012〕 It was the first Hungarian company that was among the top 25 list of the Apple Stores Free Category, and it was also ranked number 2 in the business category with the Wage calculator application. The best-selling products of Key-Soft include intventory and warehouse management software applications; invoicing and e-invoicing programs; payroll management and bookkeeping software applications. 〔(KS Website ). 2012〕
