Khandowa
Khandowa ((ウルドゥー語:کھنڈوعہ)) is a village of union council Khairpur, an administrative subdivision, of Chakwal District (Urdu: ﭼﻜﻮﺍﻝ) in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is Near tourist Point of Punjab (gardens, peacocks and a salt water lake) Kallar kahar and located 30 kilometers south of Chakwal along the motorway. Now it is of Kallar Kahar Tehsil. Khandowa is the Part of SALT RANGE( rock salt) Pakistan. The lime stone is available on the upper part of land whereas lot of mineral including salt, coal etc are available under the ground. The major part of peoples are agriculturist and love the service of Pak Army. The village has a population of nearly 3000. Khandowa is mostly home of Rajpoot Chohan and the second largest tribe is Awan(Qutab Shahi Awan). The village is divided into 3 parts 1 upar wala mohala 2 parh and last 1 is dhok khokhar ,there are a lot of biradrees in khandowa one of the most biggest is mochi biradri and from zameendar tabqa the mulehal biradri is biggest .
