Khane : ウィキペディア英語版
Khane
Khane is a village in Baltistan, Pakistan.
Jon Krakauer, the author of ''Into Thin Air'', said that Greg Mortenson, author of ''Three Cups of Tea'', originally planned to build a school in Khane. To support his point, he referred to a 1994 newsletter of the American Himalayan Foundation, where Mortenson asked for funds to build a school in Khane. Instead Mortenson built his school in Korphe.〔"(Mortenson vows to continue, as Krakauer charges deceit )." ''Bozeman Daily Chronicle''. April 19, 2011. Retrieved on April 19, 2011.〕
