Kilmessan ( meaning "Church of Messan"〔(Cill Mheasáin ), loganim.ie〕) is a village in County Meath, Ireland. ==Sport== Kilmessan GAA club plays hurling. There are two adult teams, senior and intermediate. The senior team are always strong contenders for the county title with the pick of essentially two panels of players. Kilmessan became All Ireland junior club champions in 2014. It was the first time a Meath team had won the title. The club won their first Leinster championship in 2010. This recent success is under the management of John Watters.
