KinderCare Learning Centers is an American operator of for-profit child care and early childhood education 〔(【引用サイトリンク】date=22 September 2011 )〕 facilities founded in 1969 and currently owned by Knowledge Universe. The company provides educational programs for children from six weeks to 12 years old. Some 200,000 children are enrolled in more than 1,600 early childhood education community centers,〔 over 600 before-and-after school programs,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Before-and-After School Programs, Break-Time Camps For Winter, Spring and Summer - Champions )〕 and over 100 employer-sponsored centers in 39 states and the District of Columbia. Knowledge Universe employs approximately 30,000 people in the United States and the parent company is based in Singapore. Knowledge Universe also offers many other facilities internationally.
