Kinnek provides a business-to-business online marketplace through which small and medium businesses can connect with suppliers, manage purchasing operations, and maintain supplier relationships. == History and funding ==
Kinnek is a Fall 2012 graduate of the AngelPad incubator, founded by Thomas Korte. In December 2012, Kinnek raised $3 million in seed funding.
In September 2014, Kinnek raised $10 million in a Series A financing round led by Matrix Partners, with participation from previous investors including Sierra Ventures, Version One Ventures, Naval Ravikant, CrunchFund, Richard Chen, TriplePoint Ventures, and Benjamin Ling. As a result of the financing, Josh Hannah of Matrix Partners joined Kinnek’s board of directors.
