Kokkarayanpet is a village in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu, India. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 5628.〔()〕 Place which located at by the side of kaveri river. The Eswaran temple has numerous shrines, with those of siva and parvathi being the most prominent. The temple complex houses many halls. The temple has six daily rituals at various times from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and four yearly festivals on its calendar. The Arubathimooval festival celebrated during Paṅkuni in the Tamil calendar is its most prominent festival.It is one of the fastest growing tier-II village in Tamil Nadu and a major textile, industrial, commercial, educational, information technology, healthcare and manufacturing hub of Tamil Nadu.()
Kokkarayanpettai has a pleasant, salubrious climate due to its proximity to thickly forested mountain ranges and the cool breeze blowing through the Palghat gap which makes the consistently hot temperatures pleasant.() Under the Köppen climate classification, the village has a tropical wet and dry climate, with the wet season being from October to December due to the northeast monsoon. Kopet is located at an elevation of about 411 meters.() The mean maximum and minimum temperatures varies between 35 °C (95 °F) and 18 °C (64 °F).() highest temperature ever recorded is 41 °C (106 °F) and lowest is 8 °C (46 °F).()
