Korissia ((ギリシア語:Κορισσία)) is a former municipality on the island of Corfu, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Corfu, of which it is a municipal unit.〔(Kallikratis law ) Greece Ministry of Interior 〕 It is in the southern part of the island. It has a land area of 27.675 km². Its population was 5,206 at the 2001 census. The seat of the municipality was the town of Argyrades (pop. 1,000).
