Kormos : ウィキペディア英語版
Kormos
Kormos or Kormoz (Turkish: ''Körmöz'' or ''Körmös'') is the spiritual devil of the Altaic people. Kormos means in Turkic languages "does not see" or "blind."
It is an evil and impure spirit and son of Kayra. It was also described as a black entity living in the Underworld. This spirit is associated with ancestral spirits〔(Siberian Mythology in Elements )〕 and follows a man throughout his lifetime, recording all of his deeds. There are different kinds of it: ''Yor'', ''Alban'', ''Cahık'', ''Ozor'', and more.〔Turkish Myths Glossary (Türk Söylence Sözlüğü), Deniz Karakurt
==Kurmez Khan==
Kurmez Khan or Hurmuz (Hürmüz) is the king of Kormos. In Sogdian religion, Xurmuzt or Hürmüz was the name used in place of Ahura Mazda. Via contacts with Turkic peoples like the Uyghurs, this Sogdian name came to the Mongols, who still name this deity Qormusta Tengri. It has also become synonymous with the old Turkic god Kürmez Han (Kormos Han).
