Kotagiri is a village and a Mandal in Nizamabad district in the state of Telangana in India.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Mandals in Nizamabad district )〕 The village was formed in the 18th century, and it has a good history apart from Nizam. The mutual understanding between the families is moving in good weather. The main source of this country is paddy field and soya beans. The backbone of the village is farmer, here the main source of the paddy fields are Nizam Sagar and underground water. Kotagiri is a mandal in Nizamabad District of Andhra Pradesh State, India. Kotgiri Mandal Headquarters is Kotagiri town. It belongs to Telangana region. It is 35 km to the west of district headquarters Nizamabad, and 175 km from state capital Hyderabad to the south. Kotagiri consists of 56 villages and 24 panchayats. Lingampalle is the smallest village and Kotagiri is the biggest village.
