As of 2014, its population was estimated to be 73.〔Chukotka Autonomous Okrug Territorial Branch of the Federal State Statistics Service. Krasneno is the only inhabited locality in Anadyrsky District listed in the Directive #517-rp which is not a part of any municipal formations enumerated in Law #148-OZ.
