Ksalon

Ksalon () is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Beit Shemesh, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 314.
The village was established in 1952 by immigrants from Yemen on the basis of a ma'abara set up the previous year. It was named after the biblical city of Ksalon (Joshua 15:10),〔Carta's Official Guide to Israel and Complete Gazetteer to all Sites in the Holy Land. After its establishment, the Yemenite founders were joined by more immigrants from Romania. However, it was later abandoned. The moshav was re-established in 1955 by immigrants from Morocco and Tunisia.
