Kumaar

Kumaar is the screen name of Rakesh Kumar, a popular Indian lyricist active in Bollywood cinema. Although the number of hit songs he has written are countless but he is best known for creating the lyrics of Bollywood chartbuster songs Baby Doll , Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan , Suraj Dooba hai , Lovely , Desi Look , Nachan Farrate, Main Hoon hero tera and many more.

== Biography ==
Kumaar was born in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He moved to Mumbai in 1996 and began writing lyrics. His first success was the song "Ishq Tera Tadpave" recorded by Sukhbir. His first work in film lyrics was with the 2004 film ''Plan'', for which he wrote the lyrics for the song "Hota Hai Hota Hai".
He went on to achieve success with lyrics for the film ''Anjaana Anjaani'' for which he was nominated as "Best Lyricist" in the Second Annual Global Indian Music Awards,
